What is Hypnosis?
There are many variations but few are suitable for use in a therapeutic setting. In a hypnotherapy session my client is brought to a relaxed state, just like one experiences in meditation. They remain fully aware and in full control. They can even open their eyes and shift positions to stay comfortable without affecting the therapy.
Hypnotherapy allows us to work with the parts of our consciousness that generate behaviours and reactions. By using specific techniques we can enable beneficial changes and adjustments to bring about the outcomes they want. We then replace unwanted habits and behaviours with those that are more appropriate or desired.
Some people expect to be “hypnotised” or knocked out during the session. However, the process is so gentle that many feel as if they have just been meditating. While experiencing hypnosis is not dramatic, the results often are.
People ask if hypnotherapy can work for everyone and the answer is YES. As long as there are no legal or medical reasons to indicate the contrary, the benefits of hypnotherapy are available to everyone.
Dynamic Therapy
Quite simply, Dynamic Therapy is a therapy that causes a positive change quickly and effectively. In just a few sessions, clients have overcome issues that have haunted them for many years.

I know through my experience that everyone possesses the ability to make the small changes it takes to turn their life around. Often, they just need the right guidance from the right people.
Counselling
At the Dublin Hypnosis & Therapy Centre, counselling is usually scheduled on a weekly basis. The therapist conducts the session in a professional and respectful manner, with no judgement or expectation. Although people may come with a particular problem, there may be other underlying issues they have not recognised previously. There are different styles of counselling used by therapists. There is a quicker and more permanent resolution for the client by using a combination of effective therapeutic tools and techniques.
We provide a safe and secure space where you can tell your story and fully participate in the whole process. You will be supported as you come to explore and understand whatever thoughts, beliefs and behaviours have brought you to the Dublin Hypnosis & Therapy Centre.
